Originally owned by a Dr. Tucker, an obstetrician in Montreal. About 1979-1980 Tropical Air Services Limited was partly sold to Bob Dale (of Air Dale in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada), who fired all of the local pilots and replaced them with Canadians (in Barbados). At some subsequent point the airline was then sold to Barbadians, who appeared unable to make a profit, and the airline folded.
