Is there enough interest in having a couple of forums for the following:

SMS - Airline
SMS - Air Navigation Service provider (ANSP)

I'm aware that the first one is starting to become a hot topic all over. I have no direct Flight Ops or Airworthiness experience of SMS, but the basic principles are the same regardless of which sector applies.

The second one covers ATC, ATE (now becoming ATSEP), and airport operations. I have a great deal of experience in this area, having spent over 35 years with NATS in the UK. If I can offer any advice, guidance (or better still 8-) consultancy) I'd be happy to do so.

Those Boards have been created as requested.

I just finished a Overview course in SMS myself, one which gives a very good idea of what an enormous amount of relatively complicated work is required. Now to find a position where I can gain experience and further qualifications!!

Many thanks for that. It will be interesting to see how much interest there is, considering the ICAO requirements that are pretty much "live" now.
