The incident took place yesterday evening when a tribal lady who had come to purchase some ornaments from a particular shop was stripped of her clothes by the shop owner who suspected that she had stolen some ,Bottega Veneta walletchristian louboutin shoes.
While the lady protested saying that she was innocent and even the locals came out in her support the shop owner forced her to strip and later took her home where she was again made to undergo another check by his wife.
The entire exercise of conducting the search turned out to be futile and the humiliated lady and her husband were embarrassed by the entire turn of events. At the insistence of the locals the lady with her husband approached the Paralakhemundi Police Station and wanted to lodge an FIR against the shop owner for the humiliation she had to face.
The donation had been dropped off on October 30 with staff members pulling out the bundles from their hiding place inside the furniture.
Each package is labelled with a name but so far police have been unable to find out who the owner might be. “This is a large amount of cash and police would like to locate the rightful owner,” Senior Constable Jason Dickinson said in a statement.
Police won’t be releasing what kind of furniture was donated or how much money was found at this stage, fearing it would prompt a few too many phone calls from residents who aren’t the real owner. The Salvos find comes two days after an Australian Post employee in Melbourne stumbled upon $100,000 in a parcel that was traced back to a botched ATM delivery.
