These photos were taken by Rick in Aruba during June, 2002. Here is his report...
"The Aruba trip I was on was fantastic, probably the best. I had a hard time finding anything to complain about, and with the luck I have that's saying something. We stayed at the Tamarijn and had the mega inclusive which means use of all the facilities of the Divi as well which is next door - this is normally a $70.00 cdn upgrade if booked in Canada. Well worth the additional money.
These 4 star properties are just that - a firm 4 star. We toured 7 other hotels and did site inspections, everyone was co-operative seeing as we did these on our own. The food at our resorts was fantastic, we did not get tired of it after 1 week as we often do with an all-inclusive.
The one thing I found most impresive about Aruba is how clean the island is compared to other places. And the people are some of the friendliest around.
