Bananaquit
Very common visitor to bird table, where it feeds on the breadcrumbs and sugar mix.

Darker grey throat than second picture.

Lesser Antillean Bullfinch
Male shown in photo.
Female and immature birds are drab greyish brown.

I think males seemed to have more red in front of eye than shown here.

Very common visitor to birdtable.

	Black Faced Grassquit At first sight male is similar to Lesser Antillean Bullfinch, but the Grassquit is smaller and more nervous..
	*First picture is a male, second a female.* *Common in Acacia and scrub around Tree Tops.*

Carib Grackle
Common visitor to verandah.

Immature birds are not so glossy black and are lighter below.

	Gray Kingbird Fairly conspicuous perched on telephone wires and bush-tops along road to Half Moon Bay.
	*Very common.*

Caribbean Elaenia
The “wee-a-wit chu” bird you hear throughout the day.

Common in Acacia and scrub around Tree Tops.

Green Throated Carib
Pretty bold visitor to the bird table and the hummingbird feeder.

‘Wirring’ flight around Tree Tops. Often sits in trees and scrub around the villa.

Antillean Crested Hummingbird
Small hummer with a crest (!).

Not as common as the Carib, but can be seen around the villa and particularly in the tree at the end of Martha’s swimming pool.

Common Ground Dove
Tiny dove, often seen in ‘dust-baths’ along the paths down to the beach and up to Dolphin View.

Common.

Note the red wing patches in flight.

Zenaida Dove
Common larger dove, often seen on drive-way and flying over.

Broad Winged Hawk
Seen from time-to-time perched in trees on path down to beach, and flying over.

Osprey
One individual seen a few times flying down to Half Moon Bay to fish.

Martha’s Love Birds
Occasional visitors to Tree Tops, they are much better seen at Dolphin View!

White Crowned Pigeon
Larger than Zenaida dove, and seen on utility wires along the road to Half Moon Bay.
